This lovely analogue recording is sure to please. Lots of brass, tight deep bass and percussion with great songs makes this a special album. Clifford T Ward was a talented song writer but sadly died prematurely after making just a few albums. Home Thoughts was his second album released in 1973 and is by far his best having reached number 40 in the album charts in the UK. This album is particularly precious to me because he was born and lived near where I grew up in Worcestershire and the album photos were taken in Hartlebury Castle very near to where I now live!
